Rosario de Fatima farm
33,000 trees planted
Rosario de Fatima is a large cattle farm. It covers 939 acres (380 hectares) and has more than 200 animals. The owners are experienced in teak growing because part of the farm was planted with teak in mid-1980s.
In 2011, approx. 74 acres (30 hectares) were harvested and left obsolete. For the landowners, the Nicaforest Reforestation Program became an interesting solution to re-establish the plantation area.
In this case, we are proud to being involved in replanting an old teak plantation.
